Intro:

As product designers, we need a portfolio website to showcase our work and let people get to know us professionally. There are tons of what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) tools such as Wix, Webflow and Squarespace which can help designers build a portfolio quickly. Among those tools, I found the easy to use ones don’t have the flexibility to meet the customized needs, whereas the ones that supports fully customization have quite a bit learning curve and are not easy to use.

In the past, I used HTML/CSS/JS with Bootstrap, tried Notion, then Webflow and recently went back to HTML/CSS/JS with a new utility CSS framework called tailwindCSS. And I’m quite happy about it after some searching and learning. In this article I’m sharing my learning process and the resources I found during the process.

Who it’s best suitable for?

What kind of website you can build?

Why did I choose TailwindCSS over others?

What tools I used to connect the necessary steps?

How to create and publish your portfolio using the above tools?
